Edward and Mary wish to use their wealth to leave a gift for future generations. After their passing in 1934, they leave their estate to the Buffalo Foundation. The Buffalo Foundation worked to make their vision a reality- by planning the music hall. Once the site is secured, the architecture and structure needed to be considered and the search for a modern architectural style begins.
