(dramatic music) - You're back.
- A body's been found.
Sounds like foul play.
- What if you never find about the truth, whatever the cost.
- Keep your head down.
(gun firing) (tires spinning) - [Shaun] After the end of last time...
I will take those four weeks - As long as you need.
- I was forced to take a bit of time off to deal with my demons.
We come back fresh from there.
(violins strumming) This seemingly innocuous case comes up in an orchestra so he's tasked with going to find out and piece it together.
And as he pieces it together, it begins to unfold that it's actually part of something much bigger and much darker.
- He comes back and he's been to the drying out place.
Seems set to go again.
But things are, you know, things are a little bit sensitive to begin with because Jim Strange has moved in in certain areas, you know.
- Strange has secreted himself into the family household.
And the Thursday family House and I've even spotted this Rigbys tomato ketchup.
So that is, I think that's a sign.
Thanks very much.
- Working with these people, sharing the "Endeavour" to produce, give of our best to something that demands you.
Come up to it.
I just feel very privileged to have been part of it.
- It's right to move on.
I think we've got a beginning and plenty of middle and an end.
I'll feel sad not to play the character who I love.
You know, working with Shaun we've got a wonderful team.
- Very proud of the work that we've all done.
(crowd clapping) I've been privileged to have been a part of and I don't want to stay beyond its sell by date.
I know that the time has come for new adventures for us all.
It will be sad, but it'll also be good.
