Niagara Falls is more than the celebration of a natural wonder. It's a study of human achievement and folly on an epic scale, a tale of affable lunacy, high drama, danger and desire. The Falls were the nation’s first great symbol, an emblem for the vast untamed continent with its beauty and its limitless resources.
